Card Inside Text Below...
Did you think I didn’t notice all that you’ve done for me
Doing it all by yourself its not how you planned it would be
Do you think I wouldn’t notice all the sacrifices you made
While shuffling bills, looking for deals, and keeping your eye on my grades
I saw how much you did without often time neglecting yourself
Working overtime to pay the rent, or just to put food on the shelf
Scrapping up pennies and counting your dimes making sure I had what I needed
Paying for things we could not afford to ensure that I succeeded
You were my mother, my father, my everything doing the job of two
You did not ask for it to be this way you just did what you had to do
So how could I let this day go by without letting my thanks be known
I’m a living example of the love you gave and of every seed you’ve sown
With Love & Forever Grateful,
"And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. " Galatians 6:9
